WHAT ARE YOUR CANDLES MADE FROM?
Our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax – no palm, no
paraffin, and nothing synthetic. Soy wax is biodegradable, vegan-friendly, and
burns cleaner and longer than conventional alternatives.

ARE YOUR FRAGRANCES SAFE?
All Velas fragrances are Australian-made, skin-safe,
phthalate-free, and cruelty-free. They are formulated to meet the highest
quality standards and are dermatologically tested.

WHAT ARE THE WICKS MADE FROM?
We use natural fibre waxed cotton wicks that are completely
lead-free. They are chosen for a clean, consistent burn and to minimise soot
and smoke.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?
Yes. All Velas candles are vegan friendly - our soy wax,
fragrances, and wicks contain no animal-derived ingredients and are
cruelty-free.

ARE YOUR CANDLES ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY?
Our soy wax is 100% natural and biodegradable. Our amber
glass vessels are reusable and recyclable – we encourage you to
repurpose them once the candle has burned down.

WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?
All Velas candles are hand-poured in Australia in small
batches, using Australian-made fragrances. Every product is made to order with
care and attention to quality.

HOW LONG WILL MY CANDLE BURN?
Burn time varies by vessel size. As a guide:
Small – approximately 25 hours
Large – approximately 70 hours

For the best burn, allow the wax to reach a full melt pool
on the first burn and keep the wick trimmed to approximately 5mm before each
use.
